Research at NPI University of Bangladesh is driven by curiosity and relevance. Across our three faculties — Engineering, Business Studies and Arts & Humanities — faculty and students pursue work that addresses real problems facing Bangladesh and the wider world, and share their findings through publications, seminars and collaboration.

- Engineering & Technology — software systems, computing, electrical and civil engineering, and sustainable infrastructure.
- Business & Economics — entrepreneurship, finance, marketing and the development of small and medium enterprises.
- Arts & Humanities — language, education, society and culture in the Bangladeshi context.
Student research
Final-year projects, theses and supervised studies give students first-hand experience of the research process — framing a question, reviewing the literature, gathering evidence and presenting results. The best student work is encouraged towards publication and conference presentation.
Collaboration & impact
We value research that reaches beyond the campus. Faculty collaborate with industry, community organisations and other institutions so that knowledge created at NPIUB translates into practical benefit for society and the economy.
