Biography

Md. Shahriar Islam is a Lecturer in the Department of Food Engineering at North Pacific International University of Bangladesh (NPIUB). He holds a B.Sc. and an MS in Agro Process and Food Engineering from Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). His areas of specialization include Food Processing and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, Food Product Development, and Food Analysis. He has research experience in food product development and microplastics assessment, along with practical expertise in proximate analysis, microbial analysis, total phenolic content, antioxidant activity, and FTIR-based microplastics identification. He is also experienced in teaching, laboratory work, student development, and academic activities.
